About Us

Concorde Electronics is your on-the-shelf supplier of electronics production and assembly tools, solder, soldering supplies and equipment, anti static products, material handling products and more. We will help you stock your cleanroom, laboratory and repair depot. Hobbyists find one-stop-shopping at concorde-electronics.com.

We feature only the brands that you know and trust. We do not sell cheap imported products from overseas.

We will gladly ship any order to a location within the United States and Canada.

Secure Shopping with your Credit Card

Our site is a Secure-Shopping Site. When an order is placed online, the credit card information you submit is forwarded directly to Authorize.Net where the information you provide is verified, billed to your credit card and encrypted for your protection. We do not have access to your credit card account number. If we need to adjust an order you have already placed online (e.g. price adjustments, item cancellations, order cancellations) we may need you to submit your credit card information to a Concorde representative in order to make adjustments to your credit card transaction.

Online Payment Options

We accept American Express, Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit cards as well as PayPal. The credit card company will bill your total order at the time of order placement. Customers with established accounts will be invoiced Net 30 payment terms.

Privacy Policy

Concorde does not sell data collected on our website to other firms. Data gathered on our site is used only to complete transactions

Inventory

Concorde-Electronics’ website does not display inventory. All items can be ordered including out-of-stock items. We will notify the Customer via email regarding the status of out-of-stock items.  We feature only the brands that you know and trust. We do not sell cheap imported products or knock-offs.

MAP Pricing

Minimum Advertised Pricing. Two of our manufacturers, Hakko-USA and American Beauty, require all Authorized Distributors (Concorde Electronics) to adhere to MAP Policies when selling their products on our website. MAP Policies only apply to our website. Concorde-Electronics can offer customers below-map discounted pricing when interacting with customers via telephone, email or on-site in our South Hackensack, NJ warehouse.

UPS

All orders are shipped F.O.B. South Hackensack, NJ. The customer is responsible for payment of shipping charges.  All UPS shipping options are available. UPS is our preferred method of shipment. We will gladly ship any order to a location within the United States and Canada.

USPS

The USPS shipping option is only available for Clearance Items that are very small in size and/or light in weight. (e.g. 1 solder tip). Delicate Clearance items or products that are considered to be of reasonable value, as determined by the Shipper, will be shipped via UPS.

 

Add your USPS Shipping Request to your order at Checkout. Shipping charge adjustments will not be noted during the checkout process. Our Sales Department will process your shipping charge adjustment (refund) separately.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be e-mailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Order Tracking

Order tracking information will emailed to the customer via the email address that is noted on the customer’s web site order. The order tracking will be emailed from the UPS, FedEx or USPS system at the time of shipment processing. Website accounts that have been set up by the customer will not be updated with tracking information.  This option will be added to our site at a later date.

Lost or Damaged Shipments

Please inspect all shipments immediately upon receipt. All claims must be made within three (3) days of receipt of goods. If your shipment arrives damaged, please contact Concorde and the Carrier immediately for package inspection. Shipper is not responsible for unreported discrepancies.

 

If your package was received via UPS, contact UPS Customer Service at 800-742-5877. (Have you package tracking number available when calling). The tracking number can be found on the bar coded shipping label on your package.

Wholesale Product Warranty

Wholesale Product Warranty

All products are warrantied by the manufacturer. In the event that a new product has stopped functioning ( e.g. soldering irons, thermal wire strippers, etc. ) please contact our office for further instruction. If deemed appropriate, we will provide an RMA and return instructions. The product will be returned to the manufacturer for evaluation. Upon evaluation, if the defect is due to manufacturing, the manufacturer will repair or replace the item and return it to the customer. Merchandise that has been determined to be misused or abused by the customer does not qualify for warranty repair by the manufacturer. These items will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense. Seller (Concorde Electronics) will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage, direct or consequential, arising out of the use or inability to use the items sold to the buyer.

Sales Tax

6.625% sales tax will be charged to orders shipped within New Jersey. Shipments to New York will be charged online-sales tax according to the tax schedule set by the State of New York. Shipments outside of NJ and NY will not be charged sales tax.

Sales Tax Exemptions

The Customer will have the option, when an order is placed online, to exempt the tax from your order. Include a note in the order at order Checkout. The order will be processed upon receipt of your NJ or NY Tax Exemption form. Missing or incomplete forms will delay the processing of your order. Email your Signed and Completed Tax Exemption form to info @concorde-electronics.com or fax forms to 201-488-0102. Also note your Order Number, Purchase Order Number and billing information in your email.

Hazardous Materials

HazMat items will be condensed into as few packages as possible, of the same UN Number, to minimize the UPS HazMat fees. Concorde prefers to ship HazMat orders complete.

HazMat Shipping Charges

The UPS HazMat Shipping Charge(s) will need to be determined and a representative will notify you of the additional fees applicable to your order. Your order will not be adjusted without your approval.

Perishable Goods

Perishable items (items that need to be refrigerated e.g. solder paste) must be shipped overnight via UPS-Next Day Air Service (UPS-Red) or Federal Express Next Day Delivery. These items cannot be shipped on a Friday or before a holiday when the UPS facility will be closed. Perishable items shipped within UPS Zone 2 (from NJ Zip Code 07606) will not require overnight shipping. Concorde can ship partial orders with the customer’s approval. The Customer will accept all responsibility for UPS shipping charges for multiple shipments. Solder paste is not returnable.

Perishable Goods Shipping Charges

If your order needs to be shipped outside of UPS Zone 2 (NJ Zip Code 07606) you need to select one of the “UPS Next Day Air” options at the time of order checkout. If your order requires UPS-Next Day Air Service (UPS-Red) and you have not requested overnight delivery, the UPS-Next Day Air shipping charge will need to be determined and a representative will notify you of the additional charges applicable to your order. Your order will not be adjusted without your approval. Perishable items include products such as solder pastes and some adhesives.

 

Shipping Charges for Overweight Bulky Items

Overweight or bulky items (e.g. shelving units, workstations, chairs, etc.) will be drop-shipped from the manufacturer directly to you (F.O.B. Factory) and may be subject to additional handling charges. Orders will be shipped via UPS unless instructed otherwise, in writing, by the consignee.

Shipping Charges for Bulk-Quantity Orders

Items purchased in very large quantities may be drop-shipped from the manufacturer directly to you (F.O.B. Factory) and may be subject to additional handling charges.

Returns

If the customer needs to return or exchange an item, please contact our Sales Department at 800-222-1298 for the correct return address and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). All returns must be shipped prepaid, in manufacturer’s original packaging, in resalable condition and are subject to inspection for damage or misuse prior to issuance of refund or exchange. (exclusive of shipping charges). Stock items will not incur a restocking charge. Refunds will be issued according to the original method of payment. Items that have a shelf-life (e.g. solder mask, fluxes, wire solder, etc.) must be returned within fifteen (10) ten days of purchase. Solder paste is not returnable. Unauthorized returns cannot be accepted.

 

Returns – Special Orders and Non-Stock Items

Non-stocking and special-order items are generally not returnable but there are exceptions. Some non-stock and special-order items may qualify for return authorization but a restocking charge may apply. Each non-stocking or special-order item will be evaluated individually for eligibility of return. Non-stock (specially ordered) items cannot be returned to our inventory and will need to be returned to the manufacturer. Items deemed acceptable for return, by the manufacturer, will likely incur a restocking charge and return shipping charges will apply. Contact Concorde-Electronics if you need more information regarding the return of a non-stock or special-order item. Solder paste is not returnable.
