A turned-down soldering tip can be useful to improve termination access and visibility. Turned-down tips have a
smaller mass and will heat up more quickly than a tip of the same length with more mass. Do not exceed wattage
limits for turned-down tips. Copper based tips are plated with heavy nickel-chrome and iron alloy providing the best
heat transfer and longer tip life.
